LGBT and my one cent.
I have a lot of homosexual friends. I really love them 'coz they're fun to talk with. They have these hurtful and harsh words that are true and they don't simply comfort you with lies. If you look ugly with your dress, they'll really tell you that you're ugly, go change it. They're cool, funny, lively, oh I can go on and on. Not to mention that they're intelligent as well.
Once one of them asked me if it's wrong that they're like that.. I didn't really answer 'coz I was torn between telling something based on truth and or hurting him. Or how can I tell the truth when the person doesn't believe that God exists? It was pretty hard, though. I was figuring out the purpose of his question 'coz some people ask you 'coz they already know the answer, some people ask you 'coz they don't have any idea or they ask you just so the both of you have something to talk about.
There was silence but I managed to tell him that biblically speaking it is not right. I know you're a Christian but I know it has nothing to do with your religion 'coz religion sucks. It's your relationship to Him that matters most. And if you have this relationship with someone , you will hate what he hates and love what he loves. But if we speak based on the world and its view, I think that it's okay. The world doesn't care. Although the society does but yeah, they 50% won't care. The question is , what do you care? Do you care about what people say or what the Bible say? Do you care about the world or your soul? Totally your expense.
If you're in the western world, they wouldn't care. 'Coz after all it's your attitude and your relationship to other people that matters. If you're in an Arab world , believe me you won't see the sunset! If you're in our country (Philipines), it's kind of accepted but still not but whatever. If you're here in Thailand, they're even proud of you. But if you'll ask me, I personally don't support it.Sorry. but if you'll ask someone else who doesn't have the same belief like me then you'll get another answer. At the end of the day , YOU'RE the one to decide.
" I love you as a friend and I do care about your well being. "
I gave him an option and told him that everything...literally "EVERYTHING " is permissible but not "EVERYTHING" is beneficial." God gave you a choice. Your choice will lead you to your own destiny. And whatever your choice now will affect your future. God gave you the free-will not to sin freely but to be free from sin. I didn't say this because I'm perfect. I said this because it's a challenge as well for me. If you only know how dirty I am . I'm not here to be against you. I'm here as your co-warrior. We aren't actually in the real battle field like Syria. We're actually in the spiritual battle field fighting in the spiritual realm. "
So it went okay. We went okay. We're cool.
I didn't judge him. I don't have that right to judge. Just like him, I am also human-tempted and trialled.
The only problem with people is that they're quick to judge without realizing that someone is needing their opinion and not their lectures. They want someone like us to understand but not to compromise. . They need a friend. We can't change them. Only God can change a person. You sow the seeds everywhere and it's up to them if they'll grow or not.
As of Manny Pacquiao's statement, I know he's telling what the Bible say as wrong. I even appreciate his boldness and courage to speak. I respect him. But I think....I might be wrong about this..but I think that it's not good to compare people to animals Or say that animals are better than people. I'm just saying. He could have said it in a way that people don't get provoked and humiliated. I'm a teacher and whenever my students are getting into my nerve, I never embarrassed them in the public. I usually bring or talk to them in private. What I meant was that, rebuke but don't provoke.
To my homosexual friends, I love you with all my heart to fly with dragons in the land apart. Lol. Seriously though, it's up to you if you're open to rebukes and if you're teachable and flexible enough to understand between society's, religion's and or your own instinct's pressure.
The cards has been placed on the table and It's up to you which card you're gonna take. You can get the "I don't give a fish" card if you like. You can get the " mind your own business" card. Really, really up to you. It's up to me which card I'm going to take, I say. I'm looking forward for the better version of ourselves. This world is empty, pale and poor. This is not our home. This is temporary. And with you, I'm challenged everyday not to be perfect but to be better than what we were yesterday, three weeks ago, last month or last year. Everyday is a battle. God's grace is deeper and bigger than the ocean. He doesn't condemn. In fact he's a God of second chances. Be strong. But remember to be ready with the consequences of our decisions 'coz everything comes with a price. That's all .
Ktnxbye.
The friend who loves you all unconditionally ,
kfp ❤

P.s : don't bring the world and the bible together 'coz they will really contradict. If they don't believe in the bible, what's the point of telling them that the bible is right when they don't even believe it. You've got to go back first to the very foundation of faith- BELIEVE.All we have to do is pray and leave it all to God.
